An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Disputes Solicitor to join one of the UK's leading disputes practices in Leeds. This role offers the chance to work alongside highly regarded partners and senior lawyers on complex, high-value disputes for major corporates, public sector organisations and high-net-worth individuals. The team is recognised nationally for its commercial approach and handles a broad range of significant disputes, regularly acting against Magic Circle, US and leading City firms.
The Role
You will work on a varied caseload of commercial disputes and gain exposure to matters including:
- Contractual disputes
- Shareholder and partnership disputes
- Professional negligence claims
- Corporate and business disputes
- Alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and negotiation
- High Court and other formal proceedings
The team acts for clients across a range of sectors including retail, technology, transport, financial services, energy, healthcare and manufacturing. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer looking to accelerate their development, gain exposure to high-quality work and learn from some of the most respected disputes lawyers in the market.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- Approximately 1-3 years' PQE
- Experience within a commercial litigation or commercial disputes team
