A respected Residential Property department is seeking a Conveyancing Assistant or Paralegal to support its fee earners in delivering high‑quality, client‑focused legal services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist fee earners with residential conveyancing transactions, providing an efficient and cost‑effective service
- Undertake supervised fee‑earning work, including file creation, matter opening procedures, drafting client care documents and completing client questionnaires
- Respond to routine client enquiries and maintain regular communication throughout each transaction
- Manage matter start and completion data for compliance and reporting requirements
- Deputise for fee earners during periods of absence, escalating urgent matters as necessary
- Follow firm‑wide quality procedures and progress all client work professionally and within agreed timescales
- Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure the security of client and firm information
- Ensure compliance with Solicitors' Accounts Rules and the SRA Code of Conduct
- Support departmental development and marketing activities aligned with the firm's wider business strategy
