We are seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Dispute Resolution/Litigation Associate Solicitor (NQ–3 years PQE) to join a modern, forward‑thinking law firm with a strong reputation for high‑quality civil and commercial litigation work. This role offers a varied and intellectually challenging caseload, including corporate, commercial, property and intellectual property disputes, alongside the opportunity to develop client relationships and progress quickly within the firm. Flexible working arrangements are available, including office‑based, hybrid or fully remote working, subject to business needs.

Working Hours & Progression

Standard hours are: Monday to Thursday: 9:00am – 6:00pm Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm. Solicitors who generate higher billings are rewarded with enhanced remuneration and accelerated career progression.

The Role

Reporting to Senior Dispute Resolution Solicitors, you will:

  • Run your own caseload with appropriate supervision
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients
  • Delegate to and assist with supervising trainees and paralegals
  • Work alongside an established network of experienced Consultant Solicitors
  • Handle disputes across multiple practice areas

Areas of work include:

  • Property disputes
  • Corporate and commercial litigation
  • Employment disputes
  • Wills and probate disputes
  • Intellectual property litigation

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied civil and commercial dispute resolution caseload
  • Handling County Court and High Court litigation
  • Advising clients clearly, commercially and pragmatically
  • Converting new enquiries via introductory video calls
  • Using AI tools and legal technology within day‑to‑day practice
  • Supporting marketing, networking and business development initiatives
  • Building long‑term client relationships

About You

  • A qualified Solicitor (NQ–3 years PQE) with experience in dispute resolution or litigation
  • Experienced in active County Court and/or High Court litigation
  • Confident working across a range of civil and commercial disputes
  • Able to work autonomously while responding positively to supervision
  • Detail‑focused with strong drafting and advocacy skills
  • Commercially aware with an interest in business development
  • Comfortable using modern IT systems and AI‑enabled legal tools
  • Professional, personable and client‑focused
  • Resilient, organised and able to manage a busy caseload effectively
