Our client is a long-established and highly respected law firm with a strong presence across Staffordshire. The firm has built an excellent reputation within residential conveyancing and property law, handling a high-quality caseload that includes many high-net-worth property transactions. The Rugeley-based residential property team consists of ten members both qualified and support.

The Role

As a Residential Property Legal Assistant, you will provide direct support to one Solicitor within the residential conveyancing department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Directly supporting a qualified Conveyancer on all aspects of their caseload
  • Supporting on purchase matters under supervision
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents and third parties
  • Preparing legal documents and progressing files efficiently
  • Opening new client files and completing associated administrative processes
  • Maintaining and updating client records and files
  • Assisting with dictation and audio typing
  • Taking meeting minutes when required
  • Managing file archiving and file closing procedures
  • Providing general administrative support to the Residential Property team

This role offers excellent exposure to quality conveyancing work within a collaborative and supportive environment.

About You

To be considered for this Conveyancing Paralegal role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential property/conveyancing as a paralegal
  • Experience managing a small and straightforward caseload
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Confidence handling client conversations and difficult discussions professionally
  • A genuine passion for residential property law and conveyancing
