Family Solicitor - Associate / Senior Associate Wiltshire
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced family solicitor or chartered legal executive to join one of Wiltshire’s leading Legal 500 and Chambers-recognised family team. This award-winning department is known for handling high-quality, complex work that rivals London firms — all while maintaining the balance and lifestyle of a regional practice.
The team is thriving, with a full caseload ready to hand over focused on private divorce, financial and private children work. With strong internal referral networks and an established client base, this is very much a servicing role rather than one focused on business development.
The role
You will take on a busy and varied caseload consisting predominantly of:
- Divorce and financial remedy work including:
- High‑ and ultra‑high‑net‑worth cases involving assets from £1m–£12m+
- Financial remedies with multi‑jurisdictional and offshore elements
- Matters involving trusts, property portfolios and business interests
- Private children work, including international relocation and complex residence/contact matters
- Pre‑ and post‑nuptial agreements and TOLATA cases
Clients include HNW individuals, local business owners, farmers, property developers and established family estates — a mix of national‑calibre work with a local, personal approach.
What experience is required
- Qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive with at least 4 years’ PQE
- Strong experience in divorce, financial remedies and exposure in private children work
- Confident managing complex and high‑value cases independently
