The Role
As a Dispute Resolution Solicitor, you will manage a diverse caseload covering commercial litigation, property litigation and insolvency-related disputes. You will play an important role in supporting the continued growth of the department through excellent client service and relationship-building with professional referrers. There is also scope for candidates with employment law experience to undertake employment-related contentious and advisory work, although this is not a requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters
- Advise clients on breach of contract claims and wider commercial disputes
- Handle property litigation matters, including landlord and tenant disputes
- Support and manage shareholder and partnership disputes
- Act on insolvency-related contentious matters and instructions
- Build and maintain relationships with insolvency practitioners and other professional referrers
- Attend client meetings and networking events across the local Worcestershire area
- Contribute to business development initiatives and departmental growth
Your Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales or Legal Executive
- Approximately 5+ years' PQE in dispute resolution or litigation
- Strong commercial litigation experience
- Experience handling breach of contract and general commercial disputes
- Property litigation experience
- Ability to manage files independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent client care and communication skills
