Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancer to join its growing Property Department in Banbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and commercially minded Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive looking to step into a leadership role while continuing to manage a high-quality residential conveyancing caseload.
The successful candidate will support the Head of Department in leading a busy multi-office team, mentoring junior staff and helping drive the continued growth of the department.
The Role
- Manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion
- Handle sales, purchases, leasehold, shared ownership, transfers of equity, remortgages and new build matters
- Support and mentor junior fee earners and support staff
- Assist with compliance, AML, Lexcel and CQS procedures
- Support departmental growth, networking and business development initiatives
- Help drive team performance, billing and client service standards
About You
- 5+ years’ PQE as a Solicitor, CILEX or Licensed Conveyancer
- Strong technical residential conveyancing experience
- Confident managing complex files independently
- Supervisory or mentoring experience preferred
- Commercially aware with excellent client care skills
- Strong understanding of AML, SRA and conveyancing compliance requirements
