About The Role

As a Solutions Consultant (SC) at G2, you will contribute to solution planning and design for sales opportunities for accounts in EMEA. Partnering closely with G2 sales representatives, your primary objective is to build compelling, data-informed narratives that demonstrate the value of G2's offerings when aligned with individual prospect/customer business goals. You will craft implementation plans for customers to integrate G2 data into their marketing and sales tech stacks.

Your expertise in presenting G2 data and scoping integration requirements will be crucial in pre-sales calls, addressing audiences with varying levels of data fluency and technical knowledge. You will drive transparency, build trust in G2's data and marketing solutions, and secure buy-in from stakeholders by effectively communicating the actionable insights G2 data can provide within various sales and marketing tools, tailored to the most relevant customer use cases.

This is a hybrid, in-office role requiring two days per week. The role will primarily support EMEA customers, with additional coverage for AMER clients.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Complete 4-6 Solution Consultant Requests (each tied to an active sales opportunity) per week.
  • Present data narratives on external sales calls.
  • Create Value and ROI Assessments for G2 Marketing Solutions to demonstrate how G2 data can enhance customer sales and marketing effectiveness and resolve Go-to-Market business challenges.
  • Scope requirements for integrating G2 data within the customer's marketing/sales tech stack, and recommend the best integration or data delivery options.
  • Provide workflow recommendations for effectively leveraging G2 data within each platform.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives (AEs), Account Managers (AMs) and Customer Success Managers (CSMs) in EMEA (and where needed, AMER) to understand prospect/customer goals and align assessment deliverables and solution plans accordingly.

Continuous Learning & Development: (10-20% of time)

  • Engage in ongoing, mostly self-guided (after initial onboarding), learning and development activities to maintain Subject Matter Expertise in G2 solutions, data delivery and integrations (including API), and B2B SaaS Go-to-Market strategies.

Lead and Support Additional Projects and Initiatives (10-20% of time)

  • Own or contribute to 1+ project per quarter that contributes to product enhancements, improves team processes, advances SC team towards achieving team mission and goals, or generates additional revenue for the company.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Proficient in Data Visualizations using Business Intelligence Tools (Sigma, Looker, Tableau, etc.).
  • Strong data fluency (advanced data literacy).
  • In-depth understanding of B2B Marketing and/or Sales processes, KPIs/metrics, and Go-to-Market strategies.
  • Proven ability to present complex data and solutions to audiences with varying degrees of technical knowledge.
  • Clear, concise, and organized writing and documentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European language proficiency (e.g. French, German, Spanish) is a plus.
  • 2+ years in a data-driven Pre-Sales, Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, Data Implementation, or Marketing Analytics role, or in a related field.
  • 1+ years of customer-facing and/or executive presentation experience.
  • Experience working with or supporting EMEA-based customers or stakeholders preferred.

Additional Skills:

  • Attention to detail with a track record in Quality Assurance, Testing, Copy Editing.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to problem-solve technical issues with customer systems.
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
  • The ability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferences:

  • Experience with systems integrations, API automation, and concepts like Snowflake Data Sharing.
  • Proficiency in document formatting (PowerPoint, Google Slides, design skills, dashboard creation).
  • Experience with Salesforce reports or other sales/marketing reporting tools.
  • SQL proficiency.
  • Experience with B2B marketing and sales tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Segment).
