We are currently seeking multiple experienced Freelance Wind Turbine Technicians to support a wind turbine project based in Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for technicians with prior experience in the wind industry, particularly those who hold a Vestas C level accreditation as this is a compulsory project requirement.
Location: Scotland, UK
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 6–12 weeks minimum
Rotation: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off (flexible if required)
Hours: Approx. 60 hours per week (10 hours/day, Monday–Saturday)
Languages Required: English only
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical and mechanical work on Vestas wind turbines
- Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing wind turbines to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
- Supports the setup of new turbines, ensuring systems are correctly installed and tested.
- Execute Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) processes as required
- Completes service reports and logs for compliance and performance tracking.
Essential Criteria:
- NVQ Level 3 or Electrical engineering degree
- Vestas C level accreditation
- CCNSG (Safety Passport)
Desirable Criteria:
- At least 2 years of experience working within the wind turbine industry
- Good communication skills in English
- Willing to commit to a rotational project (6 weeks on and 2 weeks off)
