Role- Environmental Health Officer- Food Safety
Location- South of England
Duration- 6 months
Rate- £ dependent on experience
A client of mine working for a local authority is looking to hire an Environmental Health Officer, specializing in food safety, for the next 6 months due to a number of outstanding service requests.
The role is full-time, expecting 150-200 food inspections to take place within the next 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food hygiene inspections across category D and new/unrated premises
- Undertake food inspections across the Hertfordshire District
- Ensure all inspections align with the Food Standards Agency and Food Law Code of Practice
Desirable:
- Worked as a Food Safety Officer within an Environmental Health team at a local authority
- Local or willing to commute within Hertfordshire
- Ability to manage inspection workload independently
Please note, this role is Pay Per Inspection
