About the Role:
g2 are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to support our engineering team on a contract basis. The role involves delivering high-quality structural designs, calculations, and documentation for buildings/infrastructure/industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop structural designs and detailed drawings using one or all of the below: AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, etc.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations in compliance with relevant codes and standards
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project teams to resolve technical issues
- Prepare design reports and review project documentation
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Chartered status preferred)
- Proven experience in structural design in the UK
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
