A well-established Engineering consultancy in the UK are looking to take on a Structural Design Engineer on a contract basis.
Location: Remote working
Rate: ££ Competitive Rate
Contract Length: 12 months
Start Date: June
Role and Responsibilities:
- Liaise with site teams to develop construction sequences and identify where temporary structures will be required
- Design work of steel connections
- Production of drawings showing construction sequences and temporary structure details
- Rationalise client engineer designs and negotiate changes with client engineer
Requirements:
- Structural Engineer with min 5 years experience
- Experience designing temporary works would be desirable but not essential
- Experience designing steel connections would be a benefit
- Must have experience designing with all material types
