A well-established Engineering consultancy in the UK are looking to take on a Structural Design Engineer on a contract basis.

Location: Remote working

Rate: ££ Competitive Rate

Contract Length: 12 months

Start Date: June

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with site teams to develop construction sequences and identify where temporary structures will be required
  • Design work of steel connections
  • Production of drawings showing construction sequences and temporary structure details
  • Rationalise client engineer designs and negotiate changes with client engineer

Requirements:

  • Structural Engineer with min 5 years experience
  • Experience designing temporary works would be desirable but not essential
  • Experience designing steel connections would be a benefit
  • Must have experience designing with all material types
