Location: Southeast, UK

Job Type: Permanent or Contract

Salary: £40,000-£55,000 Annual (Permanent) / £25-£33 per hour (Contract)

Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and technically focused Architectural Technologist to join a growing team working across a variety of residential and commercial projects throughout the Southeast. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys producing high-quality technical documentation and construction information, with the ability to work independently and manage their workload with minimal supervision.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years proven experience working as an Architectural Technologist.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Experience producing construction drawings and technical detailing packages.
  • Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction methods.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working on projects through all RIBA stages.
  • Experience working on residential and/or commercial projects.
  • CIAT membership or working towards accreditation.
  • Knowledge of BIM workflows and coordination.
  • Experience liaising directly with contractors and on-site teams.
  • Familiarity with planning and building control submission processes.
  • Understanding of sustainable construction and current industry best practices.
