Site-Based Geotechnical Engineer (Contract)

Rate: £350 per day (Outside IR35)

About the Role:
Our client, a reputable engineering firm based in Oxfordshire, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Site-Based Geotechnical Engineer to support their work on the HS2 scheme. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on one of the UK\’s most ambitious infrastructure projects, providing expertise in site supervision, design oversight, and client liaison.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site supervision and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Oversee geotechnical designs and provide technical guidance as required.
- Liaise directly with clients to ensure their requirements are met effectively.
- Prepare and review site reports, project documentation, and designs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in geotechnical engineering with site-based work.
