We’re supporting a Tier 1 contractor on a major infrastructure scheme in Scotland and are looking for an experienced Piling Engineer to join on a long-term contract.
Location: Scotland (site-based)
Duration: 2 years
Contract: Outside IR35
Rate: Competitive day rate
Role Overview: You’ll play a key role in the delivery of piling works, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality installation across a large-scale project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee piling operations on site (bored, driven, CFA, or similar)
- Ensure works are delivered to programme, specification, and safety standards
- Review and interpret piling design and geotechnical data
- Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and design engineers
- Monitor quality, manage records, and resolve technical issues
Ideal Profile:
- Proven experience delivering piling works on major projects
- Background with Tier 1 or large contractors
- Strong understanding of piling methods and geotechnical principles
- Able to manage site activities and stakeholders effectively
- Relevant engineering qualification (civil/geotechnical preferred)
