I am currently partnered with a client in West Midlands currently hiring for a Repairs Surveyor with a focus on delivering responsive day-to-day repairs.

The most ideal candidates will have a history of working within Local Authorities and Housing Associations to assess issues brought forward by tenants and resolve property complaints.

Responsibilities

Focus on inspecting domestic housing stock & building defects from customers\’ reported concerns with a heavy focus on diagnosing cause and remedy.

The role involves carrying out diagnostic inspections, surveys, and technical reports to ensure accurate and thorough records are logged.

Schedule works to be carried out by contractors and be the final sign-off once remedial works are completed.

Requirements

Recent experience in social housing

Package

6-month initial contract

Negotiable rate DOE

Potential for remote working 1 day a week

Potential extension based on performance
