Freelance Geoenvironmental Engineer – Earthworks Supervision (West Yorkshire)

I’m looking, on behalf of a client, for a Freelance Geoenvironmental Engineer to support ongoing earthworks supervision across a major project in West Yorkshire. Ideal for someone who’s confident working independently on a flagship site and available for Jan 2026.

Role Overview

• On‑site earthworks monitoring and supervision
• Compaction testing, materials validation and compliance checks
• Daily reporting, record keeping and liaison with site teams
• Ensuring H&S and spec compliance throughout delivery

Requirements

• Geoenvironmental / Geotechnical / Geology background
• Strong experience with earthworks and ground conditions
• CSCS card + SSSTS + full UK driving licence
• Reliable, proactive and able to hit the ground running
