G2 are currently looking for two Estimator/Cost Estimation Engineers to join our client on a long-term utilities framework; the specific requirement is to join them on a freelance basis, working on a hybrid or remote basis between your home and their offices near to Brighton, UK.
The role will be to work on a long-term utilities process plant and infrastructure framework, the packages will be a mix of M&E and Civils, the client are open to both a M&E Estimator and a Civils Estimator.
The client has advised that they will consider candidates with commercial, engineering or projects backgrounds who have worked on estimation, cost estimation for any kind of engineering project.

LOCATION: Brighton region / Remote
DURATION: 12 Month Rolling Contract
RATES: Outside of IR35 – Market Rates
Cost Estimator / Estimation Engineer – M&E and Civils Opportunities
- Engineering, construction or design background – Civil or M&E is most applicable
- Previous utilities, infrastructure or process plant projects
- Civils or M&E package experience (minor or major works/packages)
- Package engineering, calculation, design review and delivery experience
- Understanding of projects challenges relating to estimation, changes in project, complexities
The client is delivering one established contract for onsite builds and they are developing a second framework which will incorporate minor and major works for M&E plants and Civils infrastructure projects.
The frameworks are already live and you will have the opportunity to develop into other roles within the framework.
