Offshore Geotechnical Engineer - 3-Month Rolling Contract

Location: Norfolk, UK (Hybrid - Onshore & Offshore)

Contract: 3-Month Rolling | Full-Time | Outside IR35

I'm currently recruiting for an Offshore Geotechnical Engineer to join a leading offshore services company on a 3-month rolling contract. The role is based out of Norfolk and offers a strong mix of offshore site work and desk-based reporting and interpretation. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid grounding in offshore site investigations who's looking for a balanced role - vessel time combined with office-based geotechnical analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out offshore site investigations (short rotations)
  • Interpret CPT, borehole, and lab test data
  • Deliver technical reports and geotechnical models
  • Liaise with project teams, labs, and offshore crews

Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering
  • 2+ years' offshore geotechnical experience
  • Comfortable with both offshore work and office-based analysis
  • Strong reporting and communication skills

Contract Details:

  • 3-month rolling contract
  • Competitive day rate (DOE)
  • Based in Norfolk with hybrid flexibility
