Position: MEP Project Manager
Contract: 12 Month Contract
Overview
I am seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to join a major data centre project in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) delivery from installation through to commissioning, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all MEP activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical and specialist subcontractors on site.
- Oversee procurement, programme management, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with project specifications and client requirements.
- Review and manage RFIs, technical submittals, and design coordination issues.
- Lead project meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Support commissioning and integrated systems testing.
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK.
- Proven experience as an MEP Project Manager on large-scale construction projects.
- Previous data centre or mission-critical project experience is essential.
- Strong mechanical and electrical construction knowledge.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary subcontractor teams.Ability to manage client relationships and project stakeholders.
