Job Overview
Due to a significant increase in project workload, we are looking to appoint several positions β Architects / Architectural Technicians / Part 2 Architectural Assistants to join our growing team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of healthcare projects. We are seeking creative individuals with a proactive attitude who can take ownership of projects and contribute from concept through to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Support the design and delivery of healthcare and public sector projects.
- Produce high-quality technical drawings and project documentation.
- Assist with planning applications, technical design packages and project coordination.
- Work collaboratively with architects, associates, directors and external stakeholders.
- Take ownership of project tasks and contribute ideas throughout the design process.
- Attend project and client meetings as required.
- Ensure work is delivered to agreed quality standards and project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working within an architectural practice.
- Strong design and technical drawing abilities.
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience working on healthcare or NHS projects.
- Knowledge of healthcare design standards and regulations.
- Experience using MBS specification software.
- Familiarity with UK Building Regulations and technical detailing.
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams.
- Experience across both design and technical project stages.
