Role- Private Sector Housing Officer Location- East Midlands Duration- 3 months + optional 3 month extension Rate- £ dependent on experience A client of mine working for a local authority is looking to hire an Interim Private Sector Housing Officer, specializing in HMO licensing and compliance inspections, for the next 3+ months due to a number of outstanding service requests. The role is part-time, 15-21 hours per week. Hybrid working is standard within this local authority, so it is expected that the candidate placed will be on site between 1-2 days each week depending on the working pattern discussed with the manager Duties will include but not be limited to: Strong HMO and Private Sector Housing experience Practical HHSRS knowledge Ability to work independently Housing or Environmental Health qualification desirable (EHRB registration not required) Interviews are to be held as soon as possible and ideally the client will agree a start date within the next 2 weeks.
