Contract Structural Engineer (RC Frame Substructures – Rail)

g2 are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to support RC frame substructure design for rail depot projects on a network rail framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Design RC substructures (foundations, bases, retaining elements)
- Support depot and rail infrastructure projects
- Produce calculations, drawings, and technical reports
- Ensure compliance with Network Rail & UK standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, understanding the civils aspect too
Requirements
- Civil/Structural Engineering degree
- Strong experience in RC design & substructures
- Rail experience (Network Rail standards preferred)
- Familiar with Eurocodes & UK design standards
- Proficient in structural design software
