We are looking for an ambitious, hard-working and proactive Junior Marketing Executive to support our marketing activities and generate new business opportunities.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in both marketing and commercial business development.
Whilst the role includes a variety of marketing responsibilities, the primary focus will be identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers before passing high-quality opportunities to our sales teams.
You will work closely with both Marketing and Sales to help drive business growth, build prospect pipelines, and contribute to company revenue.
You will receive training on the job.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Business Development
- Research and identify potential Clients and Candidates across target industries and sectors.
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound email campaigns, Linked In outreach, networking, and other prospecting activities.
- Follow up on marketing-generated enquiries and inbound leads.
- Qualify prospects to determine suitability, needs and buying intent.
- Work towards individual lead generation and appointment-setting requirements
- Collaborate with sales colleagues to ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunities.
- Track and report on lead generation performance and conversion metrics.
Marketing Activities
- Assist with the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns.
- Support content creation for social media, email marketing, blogs, and website updates.
- Manage and update marketing databases and contact lists.
- Assist with event planning, exhibitions, webinars, and promotional activities.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Help maintain brand consistency across all marketing communications.
- Support the Marketing team with day-to-day campaign activities and administration.
Skills & Experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident speaking with prospective customers via email, and Linked In.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Extremely Self-motivated with a proactive approach to generating opportunities.
- Comfortable working towards KPIs.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office
- Ability to build rapport and communicate professionally at all levels.
Desirable (but not demanded)
- Knowledge of Linked In
- Knowledge of Canva and Adobe Suite
