I am currently recruiting for an estates surveyor to join a client of mine based in the Northwest of England. My client is looking to bring in the right surveyor on a 6 month basis and hybrid working with 2/3 days working in office.

Location: Northwest England

Rate: DOE

Contract: 6 months

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of estate management tasks, centralised around Right to Buys, from processing applications to liaising with legal to completion.
  • Conducting site visits to inspect properties for lease compliance, resolve boundary disputes, verify ownership, and take measurements in line with RICS Code of Measurement Practice.
  • Providing technical advice on landlord and tenant matters, supporting payment monitoring, engaging with tenants on payment solutions.
  • Preparing sites for letting, liaising with external advisors, requesting fee proposals.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external consultants, including legal, facilities, and agents, ensuring compliance with all regulatory processes and fostering strong relationships.
  • Contributing to a small team dedicated to acquisitions of residential properties.
