Role- Environmental Health Officer
Location- East of England
Duration- 3 months + extension
Rate- £ dependent on experience
I am currently seeking an experienced Environmental Health Officer to join a local authority in the East of England on a contract basis.
The successful candidate will have experience across:
- Environmental Protection
- Statutory Nuisance & Noise Complaints
- Air Quality & Pollution Control
- Planning Consultations
- Private Sector Housing
- HHSRS Inspections
- HMO Licensing & Enforcement
Essential Requirements:
- BSc/MSc in Environmental Health (or equivalent recognised qualification)
- Fully qualified Environmental Health Officer
- EHORB registration (or equivalent)
- Recent local authority experience
- Strong working knowledge of Environmental Protection and Housing legislation
- Full UK driving license preferred
This is an excellent opportunity for an EHO looking for a varied caseload covering both Environmental Protection and Private Sector Housing disciplines.
