g2 are looking for an HSE Specialist for a multinational client within the Construction and Projects industry. They need support within their Internal HSE department on an interim basis outside of IR35 for around 6 months.
The client is looking for support for their Corporate HSE department across their offices in the UK. The candidate can work on a hybrid basis but would be required to work 2 days a week from one of their offices across the UK (London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Leeds).
The role requires knowledge of both UK legislation as well as the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) due to the client's large presence across the EU. The business unit is involved in several environmental aspects such as soil remediation works, pollution reduction, and sustainability advice among many others.
- START: February or March 2026
- LOCATION: Hybrid, 2 days a week in office (London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Leeds)
- Contract: 6 months freelance outside IR35
- Hours: 40 hours - Fulltime
HSE Specialist Specification:
- Past experience working within Internal or corporate HSE departments
- Relevant qualification within HSE
- Strong knowledge of UK environmental, health, and safety regulations is critical
- CSRD experience is also required
- English speaking
- Beneficial CDM qualification would be beneficial
