Interim Senior Finance Officer – Fully Remote contract for a Local Government client. Pay Rate: DOE. Days: 5 per week. Start Date: ASAP.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day tasks of recording income and expenditure into the general ledger (e.g., data input, preparing income summaries, allocating banking income and payments to the finance systems, banking reconciliations).
  • Manage a team of Finance Officers (1 Full Time, 2 Part Time).

Qualifications

  • Previous local government experience doing the duties listed above.
  • Experience in a local authority setting is preferred, but candidates who have worked for other local government organisations (e.g., Housing Associations, Fire Service, Police) will be considered.
  • Experience managing a team of Finance Officers.
