Role: Freelance Architectural Technician
Location: Hybrid / Remote
Contract: 6-12 months
Rate: £25-£30 per hour
We are seeking talented Technical & Creative Designers to join us on a contract basis. This role is ideal for individuals who can blend technical precision with creative thinking to deliver high-quality design solutions across a variety of Commercial projects.
- Produce accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD and other design software
- Develop creative concepts and visual assets using tools such as InDesign and SketchUp
- Amend and update designs in line with feedback and project requirements
- Ensure all outputs meet quality standards, deadlines, and client expectations
- Support project documentation and presentation materials
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar technical/creative design role
Strong proficiency in: AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign and SketchUp
Ability to produce both technical drawings and creative design work
Knowledge of additional Adobe Creative Suite tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
3D visualisation or rendering experience
Experience working on projects across multiple sectors
Familiarity with UK design standards or project workflows
Previous experience in a contract or freelance capacity
