A client I'm working with is recruiting for a Deputy Housing Operations Manager based in South London for the initial course of 3 months. Please see the details below:
- Contract length: 3 months
- Rate: Negotiable
- Working pattern: 3-4 days p/w in office
Skill set:
- Homelessness experience
- Previous experience guiding and managing homelessness officers
- Experience making referrals and authorising temporary accommodation
- Up to date knowledge of relevant housing legislation
Day to day responsibilities:
- Managing all front line housing services
- Checking S.184 decisions that are made and approve temporary accommodation requests
- Provide 1 to 1's to staff
- Support staff on duty
- Ensuring safeguarding duties are followed and referrals are made where necessary
