Contract Civil Engineer – Renewable Energy
- Location: UK (Manchester/ London/ Aberdeen)

The Opportunity
We’re working with a major renewable energy developer delivering utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects. They’re seeking an experienced Civil Engineer on an Outside IR35 basis to take ownership of civil engineering deliverables across multiple live projects.
The Role (Deliverables)
- Civil design and review of site infrastructure – access roads, drainage, foundations, substations, and cable routes.
- Site surveys and feasibility input during early development.
- Managing civil packages, including contractor liaison and design approvals.
What You’ll Need
- Track record in renewables, energy, or large infrastructure projects in the UK.
- Proficiency in design tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to work autonomously.
