G2 are currently looking for a Mechanical Construction Manager to support a major project on a 12‑month contract.
Contract Details:
- Duration: 12 months
- Location: West London
- Start date: ASAP
- IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Role Overview
- Take ownership of on-site delivery across mechanical building services packages, including HVAC, ductwork, pipework, drainage, and water systems.
- Review and work from mechanical drawings, identify issues, raise RFIs, and assist with red-line mark-ups and as-built information.
- Coordinate site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme, and in line with technical requirements.
- Maintain control of site documentation such as RAMS, inspections, toolbox talks, PPE records, and plant checks.
Essential Experience
- Strong background in mechanical construction management on complex projects.
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems (VRF, DX), LTHW, chilled water, ductwork (including fire and smoke systems), FCUs, and drainage.
- Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems.
