Overview

I am currently recruiting for a Building Safety Manager to join a client on a 6-month hybrid working basis. The role has a big focus on building safety, fire safety and major works.

Location: South East England

Rate: Negotiable DOE

Contract: 6-months

Key responsibilities

  • Demonstrate competence to the building safety regulator (HSE) and meet the requirements of the new Fire Safety Bill and Building Safety agenda.
  • Responsibility for carrying out inspections, defect diagnosis and taking appropriate action.
  • Completing Gateway 2 applications, Mandatory Occurrence reports and Gap Analysis.
  • Ensure that the Golden Thread is continuously up to date to maintain safety.

Qualifications and Essential Experience

  • CIOB Level 6 or working towards
  • Working with High Risk Buildings (HRB)
  • Permit to work schemes
