I am seeking a proactive and resident focused Housing Solutions Officer to join my client's Housing Services team based in the West Midlands. You will manage a patch of general needs properties and play a key role in delivering high quality housing management services to the tenants.
Employment Type: Freelance / Contract
Working Arrangement: Fully remote
Key Skills:
- Good knowledge of housing legislation and tenancy management
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
- Experience handling anti-social behaviour and safeguarding issues
- Proficient IT skills, including housing management systems
- Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of council or housing association properties
- Act as the main point of contact for tenants
- Handle tenancy sign ups, sustainment, and enforcement
- Investigate and resolve anti-social behaviour cases
- Conduct estate inspections and property visits
- Work in partnership with internal teams and external agencies
- Ensure compliance with housing legislation and policies
- Support vulnerable residents and make safeguarding referrals where required
