I am looking for a Trading Standards Officer or an EHO with experience in Food Standards. My local authority client based in Wales is looking for candidates with a background in Food Standards.

Role: Environmental Health Officer (Food Standards) OR Trading Standards Officer.

Duration: Initial 3-6 month contract (3 Year Project).

Start Date: ASAP - may be negotiated for the right person.

Rate: Negotiable Per/Hour - depending on CPD's.

Hours: 37 hours per week ideally but open to part time as well.

Hybrid Working: 4 days on-site and 1 from home (can be flexible).

Experience required: You will be looking at labelling, use bys, best befores, additives, preservatives. There is no admin work; you will just be filling in the Performer sheet and visit sheet and sending it to the admin team. You will need to be able to do weights and measures if you are a Trading Standards Officer.
