Interim Customer Finance Manager Contract Length: 6 Months + Pay Rate: DOE Days: anywhere from X2 – X5 days p/w. Fully Remote (if you are situated nearby some office presence would be beneficial). Start Date: End of October Responsibilities: * Overseeing billing and collection for adult social care charges. * Dealing with adult social care customer transactions, customer financial assessments, payments to providers and collecting client contributions * Managing customer accounts and ensuring accurate financial records. * Leading the team responsible for income recovery and financial customer service (13 employees). * Supporting vulnerable residents with payment plans or hardship schemes. * Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Please note this role will be more managing the team doing the financial assessments rather than doing the financial assessments yourself. Successful candidates will: * Have previous experience managing and leading a finance team within a local government setting. * Have experience or an appreciation of adults social care/customer finance. * Do not necessarily need to be fully qualified as the client is happy accepting candidates who are part qualified or qualified by experience
