Role – HRA Accountant

Location – Midlands, but can be offered as a remote role.

Rate – Up to 450 per/day, negotiable depending on recent relevant experience.

Client – Local Authority

One of my local authority clients in the Midlands are looking to bring in an Interim member of staff for the next 3-6 months to help support their busy Housing Revenue Account service. This local authority have a significant amount of Housing Stock so are looking to bring someone in quickly.

The role will require you to have strong working experience or background knowledge of HRA finance (Housing Revenue Account) and can be offered either part or full time.

Some of the duties may include:

  • Budget monitoring and Budget management.
  • Management Accountancy duties within the HRA/Housing Finance service.
  • Attending monthly capital budget meetings.
  • VAT returns.
