Contract Opportunity Midlands (Hybrid Working)

6 Month Initial Contract

G2 are currently working with a local authority who is looking to appoint an experienced Housing Officer on an initial contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in housing management who enjoys working directly with residents and managing a varied patch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of tenancies
  • Tenancy sign-ups, reviews and audits
  • Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) case management
  • Estate inspections and property visits
  • Supporting tenancy sustainment and resident wellbeing
  • Working closely with internal teams and external agencies
  • Ensuring compliance with housing legislation and policies

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Housing Officer, Neighbourhood Officer or Tenancy Officer
  • Strong knowledge of tenancy management and housing legislation
  • Experience managing ASB cases and resident-focused casework
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload
