Calling all Food Safety Officers or Environmental Health Officers! I am looking to place a Food Safety Officer, who is searching for their next role until March 2027. The role is a Pay Per Inspection role, to support a very busy Food Safety team in Hertfordshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out approximately (Apply online only) food hygiene inspections (Category D and new/unrated premises) in line with regulatory standards
- Undertake inspections across the Hertfordshire District
- Ensure all inspections comply with the Food Standards Agency (FSA) Food Law Code of Practice
- Manage allocated workload and complete inspections within agreed timeframes
Desirable:
- Worked for a local authority within an Environmental Health team
- Lives within Hertfordshire or willing to commute 5 days per week
- Has a UK driving license
- Ability to manage inspections independently
