This will be an immediate start undertaking food hygiene inspections. The officer must be qualified in order to fulfil the full range of inspection criteria.
Expectation:
- A Degree or Diploma in Environmental Health or Higher Cert in Food Control or The Advanced Professional Certificate in Food Hygiene and Standards Control
- Drives
- Inspecting within the Borough at least 4 days a week
- Able to start within 2 weeks
- Uses own initiative
- Work their way through a back log of inspections and set targets
- Capture inspections adequately and give associated rating
- Record detail on Idox
- Work under pressure
