West Midlands DFG Technical Officer - Contract Opportunity DFG Technical Officer / Adaptations Technical Officer West Midlands - Site Based Competitive Daily Rate Contract Position We are currently recruiting for an experienced DFG Technical Officer to support a busy Disabled Facilities Grant and Adaptations Service within a well-established local authority in the West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a technical professional with a strong background in housing adaptations and DFG delivery to manage projects that make a genuine difference to residents lives. Key Responsibilities Produce adaptation designs and specifications using CAD, including: * Level Access Showers * Access Ramps * Door Widening Schemes * Complex Major Adaptations Manage projects from initial survey through to practical completion. Liaise with Occupational Therapists, residents, contractors, and key stakeholders. Undertake contract administration, project monitoring, and quality assurance. Support procurement, tendering exercises, and contractor management activities. Manage a high-volume caseload whilst maintaining compliance, quality, and customer satisfaction.
