Role: I am currently assisting my client in Leicestershire, identify an Animal Licensing Officer on an hourly or per inspection basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out inspections of licensed and unlicensed premises to assess compliance with statutory requirements and welfare standards
- Provide advice and guidance to businesses, animal owners, and members of the public on animal welfare and licensing requirements
- Prepare reports and represent the council at hearings, committees, and court proceedings where necessary
Essential Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload effectively
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
