I am seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead and oversee the commissioning process for a large-scale Data Centre project in Acton.

The role will include ensuring all systems are tested, validated, and handed over safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all commissioning activities across electrical, mechanical, and associated systems.
  • Develop and maintain commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures.
  • Lead commissioning teams, contractors, and stakeholders through testing and handover phases.
  • Ensure commissioning activities are completed in line with project requirements, safety standards, and client expectations.
  • Review commissioning documentation, test scripts, method statements, and reports.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as required.
  • Support integrated systems testing (IST), witnessing, issue resolution, and final project handover.

Requirements

  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager on Data Centre projects.
  • Strong knowledge of commissioning processes across MEP systems.
  • Experience managing contractors, consultants, and client stakeholders.
  • Excellent planning, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
  • Relevant engineering qualification preferred
