An excellent opportunity has arisen for a senior commercial property solicitor to join a growing and ambitious business at Director level. This is a genuine platform role with the opportunity to lead and grow the commercial property offering in Manchester, backed by an established professional services group, strong referral network and existing client base. Importantly, no following is required. There is already a strong stream of work and long-standing client relationships in place, particularly across corporate support and landlord & tenant matters.

The Role

  • Advise on a broad range of commercial real estate matters including:
    • Landlord & tenant work
    • Commercial leases and licences
    • Acquisitions and disposals
    • Portfolio management
    • Property finance
    • Real estate support on corporate transactions including M&A and demergers

Alongside fee-earning work, you will help shape and grow the commercial property offering, mentor junior lawyers and build relationships across the wider business network.

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
  • Around 8+ years' PQE in commercial property
  • Strong technical experience across commercial real estate
  • Experience supporting corporate transactions
  • Commercially minded with an interest in leadership and growth
  • Director level within the business is comparable to Partner level within a traditional law firm structure, offering genuine autonomy, influence and long-term progression.
