An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Counsel to join the UK legal team of a highly successful, award-winning international engineering group operating across 60+ jurisdictions worldwide. This is a broad, business-facing role offering genuine exposure across commercial, corporate and compliance matters within a dynamic global organisation.
Reporting to the Global Head of Legal, you’ll provide commercially focused, practical legal advice aligned with strategic business objectives.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts (supply, distribution, procurement, development agreements, NDAs and bespoke arrangements).
- Supporting corporate governance processes and maintaining key legal documentation.
- Advising on compliance, GDPR and risk frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
- Handling commercial property matters including leases, licences and development documentation.
- Supporting dispute resolution from early assessment through to litigation readiness.
- Liaising with and managing external counsel where required.
- Providing day-to-day legal support to stakeholders across the business.
Strong grounding in commercial and corporate law. Experience in commercial property, M&A or multi-jurisdictional work would be advantageous but is not essential. Broad exposure across varied legal disciplines. Supportive legal team environment. Competitive salary and attractive benefits package.
