The Role(s)

You\’ll join the Manchester-based Property Litigation team, part of a national Real Estate Litigation group that is one of the largest in the UK, comprising over 20 lawyers across Leeds, London and Manchester.

Work will include:

  • Commercial landlord and tenant disputes
  • Lease renewals (contested and uncontested)
  • Break notices, forfeiture and possession actions
  • Telecoms disputes
  • Complex dilapidations claims
  • Development-related disputes
  • Strategic litigation for large-scale occupiers and landlords

At Junior Associate level , you\’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of disputes and benefit from direct Partner supervision. You’ll be given real responsibility early, with support to help you grow and eventually run your own matters.

At Senior/Managing Associate level , you\’ll take a lead on complex cases, supervise junior colleagues, and act as a key contact for major clients. You’ll have the chance to play a strategic role in client relationships and business development across the firm’s national Real Estate division.

  • For Junior Associate: 1+ PQE with experience in property litigation or strong interest in developing a specialism in this area.
  • For Senior/Managing Associate: 5+ PQE with a proven track record of handling real estate disputes and client relationships, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong academics and training from a recognised national or regional firm.
  • Commercial awareness and a pragmatic, solutions-led approach to client advice.
