This position is to work at an established Legal 500 Law firm assisting 2 Partners on a range of Court of Protection matters covering both sides; health & wealth and property & finance. This position can suit someone junior with experience or a fee-earner used to managing their own caseload.
The key responsibilities:
- Preparing and submitting applications to the Court of Protection
- Managing high-value deputyships and private trust matters
- Liaising with professionals (case managers, doctors, therapists, surveyors, financial advisors, and legal experts)
- Budget control & financial monitoring to ensure clients’ best interests are protected
- Assisting with property purchases and adaptations for vulnerable clients
- Drafting personal injury trusts and legal documents
About you:
- Experience in court of protection, private client or related legal areas such as clinical negligence or personal injury
- Previous time recording experience, case management system is LEAP
- Quick learner, strong communication skills and dynamic personality traits
