Company Secretarial Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading London professional services firm for an experienced governance professional to join its growing team. The role offers the opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of predominantly listed clients, while contributing to team development and strategic projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of listed and private company clients.
- Lead Board and Committee meeting cycles, including agendas, papers and minutes.
- Support AGMs and other general meetings.
- Advise clients on corporate governance, statutory compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance on MAR, RNS announcements and governance disclosures.
- Oversee statutory registers and corporate records.
- Support annual reports, IPO preparation, M&A and other corporate projects.
- Develop junior colleagues and contribute to business development activities.
Key Skills
- CGI-qualified, qualified lawyer or chartered accountant.
- At least 4 years' relevant company secretarial experience, including 3+ years with listed companies.
- Strong Board and Committee support experience.
- Good knowledge of corporate governance, MAR and statutory compliance.
- Diligent Entities experience.
- Excellent communication, organisation and client management skills.
- Professional services experience is advantageous.
Hybrid Working
The role operates on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the London office. Some UK travel for client meetings may also be required.
