The opportunity:
We are seeking a Patent Paralegal to join a busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in patent administration or formalities looking to develop their career within a growing IP practice. You will work closely with Patent Attorneys, assisting with the preparation, filing, and prosecution of patent applications, both in the UK and internationally.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing and filing patent applications with the UKIPO and international offices
- Managing deadlines and correspondence for patent portfolios
- Assisting attorneys with formalities, renewals, and case management
- Liaising with clients, patent offices, and foreign associates
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting IP administrative processes
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience as a patent paralegal or in patent administration
- Knowledge of UK and European patent procedures
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
