A leading specialist family law practice with a strong presence across Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Senior Childcare Solicitor (10+ PQE) to join one of its offices in West Yorkshire. This is a senior-level opportunity for an ambitious solicitor looking to take on a key role within a highly respected public family law team renowned for its expertise in complex children matters, care proceedings, and legally aided work.

The firm has built an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality representation across all aspects of family law, with particular strengths in childcare, domestic abuse, and public law proceedings. You will handle a varied and complex caseload of public children matters, including Care Proceedings, Child Arrangements disputes, non-accidental injury cases, and other Children Act matters.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Family or Childcare Solicitor with at least 10 years’ PQE and a strong background in public children work. Children Panel membership or Resolution/Family Panel accreditation would be highly advantageous, although experienced applicants working towards accreditation will also be considered.

Strong advocacy skills, leadership capability, and experience handling legally aided matters are essential.
